Peggy Richardson specializes in creating eBooks and excels at taking complicated technical language and making it accessible and clear. At this workshop she will show you some spectacular examples of what’s being done in the market right now, and why it’s far more accessible than you might think. Peggy loves teaching and helping writers learn how to take control of their content by managing their own eBooks.

• What are the most common eBook formatting problems and how to avoid them;
• When to turn your eBook into a printed book.

Peggy Richardson has a 20 year background in IT and splits her time between the West Coast of Canada and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. As well as being an eBook writer, she is also a podcaster and blogger who teaches about the techy aspects of eBooks and marketing. She also offers eBook formatting and coaching services for authors.

She has worked on writing, training, and digital publishing projects in both the USA and Canada and has had personal experience in self-publishing since 1994.

She now works primarily with self-publishing authors in the area of non-fiction, mostly related to business and lifestyle topics. Her renaissance approach to self-publishing includes not only book publishing, but also audio and video production, internet marketing, and publicity events. Peggy’s passion for communication has inspired her to explore cross-over media like video podcasting, live Internet radio, social media tools and interactive ebooks.

Peggy also teaches eBook workshops at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
